{"id":1490,"date":"2010-03-20T05:41:50","date_gmt":"2010-03-20T09:41:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.synth-studio.com\/blog\/?p=1490"},"modified":"2010-03-20T05:41:50","modified_gmt":"2010-03-20T09:41:50","slug":"king-kong-srx","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.synth-studio.com\/blog\/audio-music\/cover\/king-kong-srx\/","title":{"rendered":"King Kong (2005) Highlights"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Was up all night remixing another movie soundtrack MIDI.\u00a0 This time it&#8217;s music from the 2005 remake of King Kong, courtesy of Gary @ <a href=\"http:\/\/garyw0001.com\/\">garyw0001.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>I think that I reached a new personal record for &#8220;most massive&#8221; sounding orchestral midi remix with this one.\u00a0 Overall, I think this remix came out great, with only one or two iffy areas that I am too lazy to rewrite from scratch to optimize for the Roland Fantom XR \/ XV-5080 combo.<\/p>\n<p>This remix features sounds from the &#8216;SRX-04 Symphonique Strings&#8217;, &#8216;SRX-06 Complete Orchestra&#8217;, and &#8216;SRX-10 Big Brass Ensemble&#8217; expansion boards, with a couple custom patches of my own.<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy!<\/p>\n<p class=\"audioplayer_container\"><span style=\"display:block;padding:5px;border:1px solid #dddddd;background:#f8f8f8\" id=\"audioplayer_1\">Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip.
